Hello,
My name is Aimee Osantoski. I was born and raised in St. Clair Shores, Michigan, and moved to Port Huron in 2018. I’ve always loved living by the water! I am married and have a son named Arthur. I graduated with a bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice from Lake Superior State University.
I have been coaching swimming since 2010. Over the years, I have coached recreational swim with the St. Clair Shores Sea Serpents, as well as USA Swimming with DRD (Dearborn Dolphins), GLT (Great Lakes Tritons), and BWSC. I have also coached two years of girls' high school swim for Lakeview High School. Throughout my career, I have coached everyone from novice swimmers up to high school competitors. My favorite stroke is freestyle, and I love sharing my knowledge of swimming and watching our athletes grow within the sport!
Gretchen Guevara
Junior Coach
"I’ve been swimming for 12 years, competing in the 200 IM, 100 fly, and various relays for my high school, as well as racing any event I can for BWSC. Butterfly is my favorite stroke! I hold multiple varsity and lifeguard certifications. My favorite part of coaching is watching young swimmers apply feedback and seeing their hard work pay off. Beyond racing, my goal is to teach kids life-saving water safety skills they can carry with them anywhere. When I’m not at the pool, I love relaxing with diamond art, playing my guitar, and traveling. Fun fact: I’ve been across the country and even met one of the original carvers of Mount Rushmore!"
Jack Lucas
Junior Coach
Hi, I'm Junior Coach Jack!
I have been swimming for Blue Water Swim Club for six years, and three years for the St. Clair High School boys' swim team. I currently hold the 100 Breaststroke at both St. Clair and Marysville High Schools, and I also hold Blue water Swim Club 100 I.M. record! I am proud to have been named Sports Athlete of the Month and The Times Herald Athlete of the Month. The Breaststroke is my absolute favorite to swim and teach. As a certified lifeguard and coach, what I love most is seeing the incredible progress our swimmers make each and every day. My goal is to help every swimmer develop strokes that are both technically solid, beautiful, and fast! Outside of the pool, I enjoy playing Minecraft, and a fun fact about me is I am a gentle giant.

He later achieved a Master's degree in Civil Engineering from San Diego State University. Coach Craig recently concluded a distinguished 21 year career in the U.S. Navy, retiring at a rank of Commander. His extensive military background instilled a deep commitment to discipline, strategy, and developing a strong team cohesion. These qualities he is eager to translate into swimmer development here at the club.
Payten Daneels
Junior Coach
Hi, I'm Junior Coach Payten!
I’ve been in and around the water since I was a baby, later joining the St. Clair High School girls' swim team and Blue Water Swim Club in the 9th grade. Breaststroke is my absolute favorite, and a major highlight of my competitive career was qualifying for the high school State Championships in the 100 breaststroke during my senior year!
I started out coaching recreational swim at the St. Clair City pool and I have since been a coach with BWSC for the past year. I am currently working on becoming a full-fledged coach. My favorite part of coaching is sharing my passion for the sport and watching the joy it brings to swimmers as they grow. I strongly believe that overcoming challenges is essential to success, and I love teaching our athletes the value of hard work and dedication.
When I'm not at the pool, I love weightlifting, creating art, and doing nails. This fall, I will be attending SC4 to study Business and Arts!
